"Wasting words on lower cases and capitals."

"The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows" by Brand New

These past few hours have been quite interesting....To me, at least.

"Incomplete Control (The Wishing Poem)"

"The revelation had my mind turning for a bit.
It seemed like hours, the time I struggled to regain my head.
I took a deep breath and my eyes blinked.
Well in between my thoughts and fainting dead.
I wish I had control, you wish you did too.
I wish I had control, better than what I have now.
I wish I could control how I feel and felt about you.
I wish I had control of when, where and how.
All I can offer are my words and letters.
But the only word I can give you is a simple "Goodnight."
I wish I had better control of how my words came together.
I wish I had control. I think I would make it right."

Maybe I'm overthinking things...That seems to be a habit of mine.

"A Loaded God Complex, cock it and pull it."

"Manatsu no Jouken" by Base Ball Bear

Good God, another pseudo-poem thingy? What is WRONG with me?

"My Own Personal Blank Page"
"And so I sit, a white page in front of me.
I wonder if anyone will read it.
When I put this pen to paper, would anyone care of what I've said?
Oh please, won't you spare some time to read? Just a little bit?
But I do this not for the praise that an author longs for.
The reason I stare at this blank page, racking my brain like a marble in can,
I stare at this blank page, trying to think of something to make you smile."

Oh my God, I really hope the person who inspired this thing never sees this. Ever.

Babies are like Poems - Only interesting to the people who created them.

"Say It Ain't So" by The String Quartet Tribute

I have no idea what this is. Poem? No, it doesn't rhyme. Haiku? No, it's too long! Some pretentious wankery I thought up while walking through Walgreens? Yes! I must write it down before my mind places it in the recycle bin!

"It is what I want, but it's not what I need.
It is what I need, but it's not what I want.
A play, a play on words, you could say.
But what type of theatre did exactly transpire?
Pantomime? Musical? (Rock) Opera?
Or is it perhaps a Meta-Theatre?
Yes, the Meta-Theatre. Engage the viewers.
Because what is satisfaction if you were not a part?"

Tomorrow, when I wake up, I guarantee I'll look at this and go "What the everloving fuck?"
