"A Loaded God Complex, cock it and pull it."

"Manatsu no Jouken" by Base Ball Bear

Good God, another pseudo-poem thingy? What is WRONG with me?

"My Own Personal Blank Page"
"And so I sit, a white page in front of me.
I wonder if anyone will read it.
When I put this pen to paper, would anyone care of what I've said?
Oh please, won't you spare some time to read? Just a little bit?
But I do this not for the praise that an author longs for.
The reason I stare at this blank page, racking my brain like a marble in can,
I stare at this blank page, trying to think of something to make you smile."

Oh my God, I really hope the person who inspired this thing never sees this. Ever.

Babies are like Poems - Only interesting to the people who created them.

"Say It Ain't So" by The String Quartet Tribute

I have no idea what this is. Poem? No, it doesn't rhyme. Haiku? No, it's too long! Some pretentious wankery I thought up while walking through Walgreens? Yes! I must write it down before my mind places it in the recycle bin!

"It is what I want, but it's not what I need.
It is what I need, but it's not what I want.
A play, a play on words, you could say.
But what type of theatre did exactly transpire?
Pantomime? Musical? (Rock) Opera?
Or is it perhaps a Meta-Theatre?
Yes, the Meta-Theatre. Engage the viewers.
Because what is satisfaction if you were not a part?"

Tomorrow, when I wake up, I guarantee I'll look at this and go "What the everloving fuck?"

"Waiting on a Sunday afternoon..."

"Interstate Love Song" by Stone Temple Pilots

After a rotten week, plagued by the flu and a lack of sleep, a day that kicks ass like today did is welcomed like an old friend. It wasn't even like anything out of the ordinary happened today, but it was the small things that made my Thursday a good one - A good bowl of Mac & Cheese, a nice, hot shower, and clean socks. CLEAN SOCKS~ Oh, how I have MISSED clean socks that actually fit.

The highlight of the day, though, was something someone gave me. Something so awesomely awesome, it will make my inner-fanboy squee with joy for the next few days or weeks. What is it, you ask? Well, that's on a need to know basis. All I can say, even though the person who gave it to me won't read this, was that it was freaking awesome and it made this fanboy's day.

Convention tomorrow. Three days of good stuff SacAnime Winter 2008. Expect some pictures, and maybe a report. Though I have to wonder...After today kicked so much ass, will the next few days be just as good?

Is this the part where I start talking?

"Green Grass And High Tides" by The Outlaws

Well, I just got this Blogger thingamabob. I have to ask myself: WHY? You got the damn Livejournal, the Myspace, the Facebook, the Xanga and now THIS. Why? Why all these online journals? You KNOW no one reads this crap? Why? WHY MUST YOU WASTE YOUR TIME LIKE THIS?

Well, I'm too lazy to keep a pen-and-paper journal.

Why Blogger, though? Well, it was kind of a spur-of-the-moment thing. I wasn't planning on getting one, but Kevin (whom is the only one who will read this, and whom is also linked on the side of this page) linked me to his. It was late, I was on NyQuil and I thought "What the hell..." and now here I am. Another online journal that I will soon forget about.

Well, it's a new blog for a new year. So, to bring you up to speed:

October: Mom's Birthday, saw Ring Of Honor.
November: Thanksgiving, nothing of note.
December: Christmas, got a new guitar, SingStar and $60.
January: Worked Stage Crew once again, caught a cold.

So that's about it. The reason I sit here right now and bitch in my blog instead of being, well, productive, is because of the reason above - I've had a cold for the past few days. And once I get the flu/a cold, everything pretty much shuts down for me. You'd think I'd enjoy the time off, I guess you could say. But the whole lack of sleep and not being able to breath out of my nose make the whole experience less enjoyable. Well, I'm getting better. Hopefully, I'll be able to get back on a normal sleep track. I can breath normally for the most part, but I still sound like a 1950's nerd. Not good, considering I'm going to be singing in public this Saturday. More on that another time.

I guess that's it for now. I'm gonna try to navigate my way around this thing...
